RailsMind

Private pilot

Free during the private pilot.

There is no bill and no card to enter. If paid plans come, pilot workspaces hear about it first, with notice before anything changes.

Included

Everything that ships today.

100,000 a day per environment, kept for 14 days
Findings
Grouped errors, suspected N+1s, slow requests, and release regressions, with performance, analytics, customer timelines, and release comparisons around them
Investigations
On demand for any finding, and, once you turn it on, automatically for new and returning exceptions within a daily budget you set per application, at no cost to you
For agents
Fix briefs, the MCP server, and the JSON API
Digest
A daily email of what changed
Support
By email, from the person building RailsMind

RAILS_MIND_KEY in your deployment environment
GitHub
The RailsMind GitHub App on your repository, for investigations and briefs that read your source

Questions

Before you connect an app.

What does self-driving mean today?

Level 3 of 5. RailsMind notices problems, investigates them against your source, and writes the brief; your agent writes the change; you review and merge it. Anything labeled Coming or Later on this site is not in the pilot yet.

What leaves my app?

Request timings named by controller action, query counts with a fingerprint and the shape of each repeated query (table and column names, with every literal replaced by a placeholder), background-job timings and outcomes, exceptions with their scrubbed messages, backtraces, and the controller action or job that raised them, the business events you track, Flipper checks (flag names and results, never actors), and the account and user IDs you choose to send. Browser page views and OpenTelemetry spans come only if you turn them on.

Before anything leaves, sensitive-looking fields are filtered and emails and credentials are scrubbed, inside exception messages too. Request bodies, cookies, SQL values, and job arguments are never collected. Two switches in the initializer keep more at home: capture_exception_message = false replaces every message with a placeholder, and capture_query_shapes = false sends only the fingerprints.

Can I delete my data?

Events expire after 14 days. An owner or admin can delete an application from its setup page, which deletes its environments, keys, findings, investigations, and events. Database backups age out on the host's own schedule.

What happens after the pilot?

You hear first. There is no card on file, so nothing can be charged, and pilot workspaces get notice before any paid plan.
